Dr. Alejandro Plascencia graduated with a PHD in Project management and with a master’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Latin America, SC. (Phoenix University). He further received a BS degree in Interactional Commerce from The Monterey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). 

 Upon graduation, he was hired by Vitro Crisa in the position as customer service Director, where he strengthened his leadership ability and to better communicate, where he strengthened his. Communication efforts to better create bonds between suppliers and customers. Later, he was hired by Western Hide International, San Antonio Texas as Sales Director in the United States, South America, Europe and Asia. In that company he enhanced his skills in international negotiations. That knowledge gave him the opportunity to offer better strategy and flexible negotiation both of which proved very successful. 

Numerous times he was recognized for his successes which further allowed him to enhance his persona talents. At that point, he began a different journey, He was beginning the search to position himself in a more complete way. Then being Alejandro without titles or surnames, the human Alejandro, born, wanting to fly, higher, by himself. 

With a firm and accurate step, he began his preparation as a Psychotherapist (Conscious Hypnosis). He got involved in the human development from the Erickson’s position and started a company that offers a more holistic service to the person. It is then that MAORAN was born; his creation from and for the love of oneself and others; his point of personal growth from yet another angle, from the angle of service and comprehensive well-being.

Over the last 15 years he has been the CEO/ Director of numerous companies including: APB Virtus, Maoran a full-service Health Spa and Un Pedacito de Mexico. Further, He was CEO of Cuinba a multimillion-dollar company which later sold to GST, the largest leather producer to the auto industry in the world. He was formerly the purchasing director for Garden State the largest leather supplier to the Automobile industry in the world. 

Dr. Plascencia was hired as a consultant to turn around Global foods, and Western Hide Corporation, both are San Antonio based companies. He has, further been involved in numerous real estate ventures including warehouses, new multi-family residential construction of 58 duplexes and the property renovation of numerous residential rental properties. Recently, Alex received the “Doctorate Honoris Causa” award presented by the UNAM, National Autonomous University of Mexico, .
