Erika Santillan is the Owner and Founder of Inland Gardens and Tropics, a Woman-Owned Small Minority Business Enterprise, that was established in 2011 in the Inland Empire. The company specializes in wholesale nursery sales, contract grows for public works, Cal Trans, state-funded projects, private, commercial, and residential projects. The company also serves as a consultant to private entities needing landscape design concepts and value engineering, along with providing residential design and project management services. Erika brings her knowledge and hands-on work experience of over 18 years of cumulative general and landscape construction. She attended Cal Poly Pomona where she completed the Project Management program. Her experience extends from project engineering and management to purchasing manager for some of Southern California’s most prestigious nationwide general construction and landscape companies, such as ValleyCrest Landscape Development (now BrightView Landscape). Inland Gardens has had the opportunity to work with London based company Second Home and international architectural Madrid-based firm SelgasCano in the design, acquisition and value engineering of the new, first-of-its-kind Second Home Hollywood project that opened in Summer of 2019. In addition, Inland Garden and Tropics has won the contract as Minority-Owned Women Business with the nationwide, BrightView Landscape to provide all landscaping supplies and assist with tree/plant acquisition for the new Los Angeles Rams Football Stadium, that was completed in late Summer of 2020. The company also recently won the 3 year contract for I-405 Freeway that broke ground mid 2020.
