Gladys Ames


Since 2010 she has been the representative of the Haitian International brand with manufacturing plants in China, Germany, Russia, Brazil and Mexico specialized in the manufacture of plastic injection molding machinery. In 2011 she became the Founder Co. and CFO of American Grinder S.A. de C.V. manufacturer of industrial machinery for the recycling of plastics. During 2014, she became President and Founder of the organization “Más Mujeres de Poder”, focused on promoting the economic and social empowerment of women in Mexico and Latin America with a current network of more than 45,000 followers and three chapters operating in Tijuana, Ciudad from Mexico and Monterrey.

In 2016, she was appointed National Ambassador of the WED (Women’s Entrepreneurship Day) Movement that began in New York, endorsed by the UN and has ambassadors from around the world to promote the international empowerment of women. In 2017 she created a clothing brand called Ames Exclusive Designs aimed at professional and executive women. In 2018 she is invited to be part of the Editorial Board of the newspaper Frontera. During 2018, she became the manager and representative of NAFINSA (Nacional Financiera) in the northwest of the country, promoting and sharing with women entrepreneurs the different financing programs in collaboration with Mujeres Emprendedoras de la Laguna. In 2019 she became Partner and Founder of the company Cleo Firm S.C. corporate focused on consulting and business management. In 2019 she, too, becomes a partner Co. Founder and Director of Finance of the company VA Industries S.A. de C.V. focused on the development of technology and specialized machinery for manufacturing companies. She has been a commentator and opinion leader in various media, including PSN (First News System), Life Antena TV, Periódico Frontera, El Imparcial, as well as the main host of the Business Life TV program. In 2020 she is invited to be the International Executive Director of Radio Latino Foundation, an organization that seeks to promote and support different social causes.
